The Partnership at () is an organization that provides information and resources on teen drug use and addiction for parents, to help them prevent and intervene in their children’s drug use or find treatment for a child who needs it. The chapter looks at issues to do with how sociologists have understood drug use, past and possible future changes in the prevalence of legal and illegal drug use, factors associated with individuals' drug use, and the impact of treatment services in meeting the needs of people who get into difficulty as a result of their drug use.

Don’t let drugs and drinking put a wall between you and your loved ones. Poor school performance. Whether you’re in high school or paying for an expensive education, drugs don’t. Drug use can have an immediate impact on your body and mind, but it can also affect your future and your relationship with others.
